Connect your existing ALLDATA account to Shopmonkey for parts and labor look up.
Please note: ALLDATA doesn’t currently allow Diagrams and Procedures to be included in the integration. If that is something you’d like to see in Shopmonkey, please reach out to your ALLDATA account manager and submit a feature request.
Integration Setup
Go to Settings > Integrations > ALLDATA
Create a new estimate and add a vehicle (e.g., VIN, Year/Make/Model/Engine). Select the Search All Services menu and in the top left select ALLDATA as the provider. This will launch the authentication with ALLDATA.
Accept the Terms of Service: Click "Accept" to acknowledge the third-party data agreement.
Log In: You will be redirected to the ALLDATA portal to log in with your credentials.
Authorize: Click Allow to permit Shopmonkey to access ALLDATA services.
Please Note: Sessions typically last ~28 days before re-authentication is required.
Troubleshooting: If the integration doesn’t trigger immediately, log in to ALLDATA in a separate tab first, then retry the connection in Shopmonkey. It may not automatically redirect you back to Shopmonkey after you sign in to ALLDATA.
Adding Services, Parts, and Labor
Go back to the Search All Services menu and in the top left select ALLDATA as the provider.
Please Note: ALLDATA and Shopmonkey use different naming conventions (e.g., Shopmonkey uses "RWD" while ALLDATA uses "2WD"). In some cases you may need to manually select the specific vehicle variation from a list if an exact match isn't found automatically.
Just like you would in ALLDATA you can search or browse the hierarchy and then add Labor and Parts to pull these items directly into the Shopmonkey estimate. The service name will default to the ALLDATA category name (e.g., "Cooling System").
Maintenance Schedules
Select the Search All Services menu then the Maintenance Schedule tab. Select the mileage on the left and see the OEM recommendations on the right. Select the arrow to pull up the service recommendation in the Service Guide and add to the order as appropriate.
Vehicle Quick Reference
In an order on the right side panel select Vehicle and then scroll down to Quick Reference. Select ALLDATA and scroll or search for the desired specification.
Note: ALLDATA’s quick reference specs are currently available for vehicles 2019 and newer. For older vehicles or where specs are not found, use the ALLDATA punch out located on the Search All Services and the tab that says View Vehicle in ALLDATA
