Unbox, connect, and register your new S710 card reader with Shopmonkey.

Step 1: Physical Set-Up & Power On

1. Connect Power: Unbox the reader and connect the USB-C charging cable to the port on the left side of the device

2. Power On: Press and hold the top button on the right side of the reader until the screen turns on

3. Initial Onscreen Setup: Follow the onscreen prompts to select a language and connect to your local Wi-Fi network

4. Get Pairing Code: Once connected to wi-fi, the reader will display a 3-word pairing code (e.g., word-word-word)

Step 2: Register Reader in Shopmonkey

1. Navigate to Reader Settings: In Shopmonkey, go to Settings → Payments → Readers and select Register a Reader

2. Enter Device Details: Enter a custom name for the reader (e.g. Front Desk) and type in the 3-word pairing code displayed on your reader, including hyphens

Step 3: Updates & Completion

1. Automatic Updates: Once registered, the reader will begin updating automatically. It will restart twice and finish applying updates (this can take up to 30 minutes)

2. Ready to Use: When the Shopmonkey logo appears on the reader screen, the device is fully set up and ready to process payments

💡 To access settings on the device after setup, swipe right from the left edge of the screen, select settings, and enter the pairing code 07139. Here you can adjust your Wi-Fi network if needed.
