Send Inspections to Customers

From within the estimate, select the Inspections tab.

Select Share Inspection at the top of the inspection.

Select the method (SMS or Email) you would like to use to send the inspection to the customer.

Select the Recipients bar to add additional recipients to the inspection.

A few things to know about sending an inspection to more than one recipient:

While you can select multiple customers to share the inspection with, you are only able to select one contact method per customer. This means that you cannot send an inspection to multiple phone numbers/emails on the same customer
All recipients will receive the same Subject and Message as it is written in the preview
The correspondence with each customer will show as separate chats in the message center (no group messaging)
Multiple recipients are not saved for the future. Sending an order, inspection, etc. will always default to sending only to the customer associated with the order, inspection, etc.

Customize the subject line and message.

Select Send when you’re ready to share the inspection with your customer. This will share all inspections associated with the order.

When you send an inspection to your customer, the communication (either email or SMS) will contain the following:

PDF attachment of the inspection
URL to the inspections tab of their order to view the live inspection, comments, pictures, etc.

Toggle on Display Inspections when sending an estimate or invoice to a customer.
