The Shopmonkey for Techs Mobile App was built specifically for shop technicians to work efficiently throughout the day with workflow tracking, license plate and VIN scanning, time clocks, diagrams & procedures, digital vehicle inspections, to-do lists, and more.

Access the App

The Shopmonkey for Techs Mobile App is available for both iOS and Android.

After downloading the app, log in with your Shopmonkey user credentials to access your account.

Your mobile app’s language settings will be the same as your user’s preferred language settings selected on the web app.

Dashboard

The Dashboard displays your time clock, today’s appointments, your to-do list, and any assigned orders.

Today’s Appointments

Quickly view your appointments for the day on the Dashboard view. Select an appointment to see more details or jump to the corresponding order. Select See All to view the full calendar.

My To-Do List

Select the to-do list to see items assigned to you in a to-list format. Filter and sort the list in the way that works best for you.

Filter by:

• Assigned to

• Authorization status

• Work order type

• Label color

Sort by:

• Due date

• Oldest/newest authorized

• Oldest/newest job

• Customer name alphabetically

My Orders

Quickly view orders assigned to you.

Sort by:

• Due date

• Oldest/newest authorized

• Oldest/newest job

Workflow

The Workflow displays work orders that have services, labor, and/or inspection items assigned to you.

VIN and License Plate Scanner

Select the Scanner Icon to use your device’s camera to scan VINs and license plates. To use the scanner, make sure you allow the app to use your camera in your device settings.
