After signing up for Shopmonkey Payments, you can expect to be on a 2-business-day or 1-business-day payout schedule.

Please Note: Instant payouts are available to some shops based on a combination of Stripe’s and Shopmonkey’s eligibility requirements. To be considered for the instant payouts eligibility evaluation process, you must have been a Shopmonkey customer using Shopmonkey Payments for a minimum of 60 days. If you meet this minimum eligibility requirement and are interested in being considered for instant payouts, please reach out to our Payments team.

2-Day Payout Schedule Guidelines

Payouts of your available account balance are made daily, following these guidelines:

• Payments processed before 4:00 PM PST / 7:00 PM EST will be sent out the same day and deposited into two business days later

• Payments processed after 4:00 PM PST / 7:00 PM EST will be sent out on the next business day and will be deposited to your bank account two business days after that

• Payouts are only processed on banking business days and are not processed on federal/banking holidays or weekends

2-Day Payout Schedule Examples

Example 1

A payment is processed on Monday at 3:45 PM PST (6:45 PM EST) and is deposited into your bank account on Wednesday.

• Why? Because the payment was processed before the 4:00 PM PST / 7:00 PM EST cutoff, it was sent out the same day (Monday) and deposited two business days later (Wednesday).

Example 2

A payment is processed on Tuesday at 5:00 PM PST (8:00 PM EST) and is deposited into your bank account on Friday.

• Why? Because the payment was processed after the 4:00 PM PST / 7:00 PM EST cutoff, it was sent out on Wednesday (the next business day) and deposited on Friday.

Example 3: Weekend Processing

A payment is processed on Friday at 2:30 PM PST (5:30 PM EST) and is deposited into your bank account on Tuesday.

• Why? Because it was processed before the cutoff time on Friday, it was sent out the same day and deposited two business days later (Tuesday).

A payment is processed on Friday at 6:00 PM PST (9:00 PM EST) and is deposited into your bank account on Wednesday.

• Why? Because it was processed after the cutoff time on Friday, it was sent out on Monday (the next business day) and deposited two business days later (Wednesday).

Example 4: Federal/Banking Holiday Processing

A payment is processed on Thursday at 1:30 PM PST (4:30 PM EST), and Friday is a federal/banking holiday. The funds are deposited into your bank account on Tuesday.

• Why? Because the payment was processed before the cutoff time on Thursday, it would normally be sent out the same day and deposited two business days later (Monday). However, since Friday is a banking holiday, the payout is delayed until Tuesday, the next business day.

A payment is processed on Thursday at 6:00 PM PST (9:00 PM EST), and Friday is a federal/banking holiday. The funds are deposited into your bank account on Wednesday.

• Why? Because the payment was after the cutoff time on Thursday, it would normally be sent out on Friday. Since Friday is a banking holiday, the payout is delayed until Monday, and the funds are deposited on Wednesday.

1-Day Payout Schedule Guidelines
