Supported DYMO Printers and Labels

If you wish to use a DYMO brand printer, we recommend our customers use the DYMO 450 label printer with DuraReady 1032 or DuraReady 1035 stickers. Please Note: The DYMO 450 is discontinued, so it may be difficult to find. A quick browser search should surface some options.

DuraReady stickers do not work with the DYMO 550-series printer or with the new DYMO Connect software due to a limitation by DYMO that restricts users to DYMO-brand stickers.

The following printer and sticker combinations are compatible with Shopmonkey.

* Must be used with DYMO Label Software v8.7, see “Configure Your Printer” section below for details.

Configure Your Printer

Download and install the drivers for your printer and operating system.

For the DYMO 550-series download the latest DYMO Connect software for LabelWriter printers.

For the DYMO 450-series printer, you’ll need to instead download the DYMO Label Software v8.7 for Windows or Mac.

Connect your printer to your computer at this time.

Windows

Open your system Settings, go to Devices > Printers & Scanners, and verify your DYMO printer is installed. If not, try disconnecting and reconnecting the printer. If it still doesn't appear, select Add Device and add the DYMO printer.

If you're using a DYMO 550-series printer, click on your DYMO printer on the Printers & Scanners settings page. Click on Printing Preferences, then Advanced, and change the Paper Size to the label you've loaded into the printer. Click OK, then click Apply.

No additional configuration is necessary for DYMO 450-series printers.

Mac

Open your System Settings, go to Printers & Scanners, and verify your DYMO printer is installed. If not, try disconnecting and reconnecting the printer. If it still doesn't appear, select Add Printer and add the DYMO printer.

Troubleshooting

Consider the following when troubleshooting any issues with printing Oil Stickers on your DYMO printer:

• Verify the software installed is DYMO Label Software v8.7 if you are using the DuraReady brand for their stickers. There should only be one instance of this software on your computer. More than one instance of this software on your computer may cause issues.
• DYMO 450 Turbo: Has your driver been updated recently? To update, remove the existing driver from your computer and install the driver for Windows 7.

• There should only be one instance of the JSPrintManager software on your computer. Ensure this is version 7 (versions 8 and 9 are not compatible).

• You will want to make sure that the computer running JSPrintManager must be running and directly connected to the label printer.

• The first time you attempt to print after installing JSPrintManager, you will be prompted to allow access from Shopmonkey. Select Don’t ask again for this site and select Allow.
• If you are using DYMO-brand stickers, you will need to download the latest DYMO Connect software for Label Writer printers.
• If you are using DuraReady stickers on a DYMO 450-series printer, you will need to download the DYMO Label Software v8.7 for Windows.

Known Limitations

DYMO-brand stickers come with non-printable margins. You may notice that some stickers have more non-printable space than others. We’ve done our best to maximize the available space, but Shopmonkey is limited by DYMO’s sticker formats.
