Enable Tipping

Select the Settings icon in the bottom left corner of your screen. Select Payments under the Settings section on the left-hand side.

Select the Tipping tab. Toggle on Enable Tipping to allow customers to leave a tip when making a payment.

Select Percentage or Dollar Amount to specify suggested tip amounts. The amounts you set will be visible to your customer at their time of payment. Your customer will also be able to enter a Custom Amount.

After the customer enters their payment method details on a digital invoice, they will have the ability to Add Tip to the payment.

Payout Tips to Techs & Service Writers

Tip payouts are not automatic. Review your Transactions Report and determine the process that works best for your shop. Here is an example of how a shop might calculate and payout tips:

1. Each day (or week), pull the Transactions Report for that period and check the Tips column for the total collected
2. Subtract any tips tied to refunds during that window, since refunds impact the tip proportionally. Add in any cash tips collected, since those aren't tracked in the system.
3. Divide the remaining pool according to your shop's split (equally, by hours worked, by role, etc.) and distribute. Log the payout so it isn't counted again at the next reconciliation.
