New Supported Languages: Spanish & French
We’re excited to announce that you can now experience Shopmonkey in both Spanish and French! Shop users can specify their preferred language with just a few clicks.

Order Side Bar Updates: The Customer (and Fleet) sidebar on the Order page has been enhanced with:
- Display of the Company, Address, and Created Date
- Ability to add or update Company and Address details directly from the sidebar
- Option to add or update additional contact information
- Option to add, update, or view Fees & Rates from the sidebar
- Appointment Notes: You can now scroll through longer appointment notes without having to hover over the notes field.
- Inventory Exports: The Inventory Parts export has been optimized to support larger inventories. The columns have been reordered to allow the exported file to be easily reimported to Shopmonkey.
- Tire List Exports: Inventory Tires and Vendors can now be exported to Excel.
- Deleting Parts Improvement: When deleting a part (or tire) from an order, you’ll now be prompted to delete the item from the associated PO or parts procurement order, if applicable.
- QuickBooks Online Improvement: When sending an invoice to QuickBooks, you now have the option to also send any associated payments at the same time.
- Reports - Customer Aging: You can now drill down into the Unpaid Invoices report by clicking any non-zero amount on the Customer Aging report. The filters will auto-adjust to match the original report.
- Reports - TIN Report: The Tire Identification Report now shows all tires within the specified invoice date range, making it easier to audit tires sold without a TIN listed.
- Reports - Technician Drill Down: The Summary and Services by Technician reports now offer the option to drill down from "Unassigned" technician rows.
- Reports - Service Writer Performance: The Service Writer Performance report now includes drill-down functionality to the All Orders report.
- Reports - Sorting Improvement: For columns showing both First and Last Names, sorting is now based on the First Name.
- Reports - Filter Reset: You can now reset individual report filters after making changes, rather than resetting all filters at once.
- Reports - Excel Export: A footer row has been added to reports that are exported to Excel.

TIN Scanning in Shopmonkey for Techs 2.0
You can now scan Tire Identification Numbers (TINs) directly in the Shopmonkey for Techs 2.0 Mobile App, making it easier than ever to track and record tire TINs. All scanned TINs are automatically stored in Shopmonkey and can be accessed anytime through the TIN Report.
New Improvements
- Workflow: You can now archive orders from any workflow column, if you have the required user permissions. This action is reversible and tracked in the audit log for transparency.
- Calendar - Reminders: All-day appointment reminders now send at your shop’s open time instead of midnight. For example, if you schedule an all-day appointment with a reminder one day before, the reminder will now be sent at your shop’s opening time that day.

Appointment Scheduler:
- Appointments and orders created from the scheduler now have a “[Scheduler]” prefix, making it easier to differentiate them from manually created ones.
- Notes added to scheduled appointments are now automatically carried over to customer comments on orders, ensuring important details aren't lost.
- MOTOR: You can now add the same MOTOR service multiple times on an estimate. This allows you to easily quote both OE and aftermarket parts for the same job without workarounds.

QuickBooks Online:
- You can now import vendors from QuickBooks Online via Settings > Accounting > Import & Sync, making it easier to keep vendor records up to date.
- If you manage multiple locations in QuickBooks Online under a single account, you can now enable Send Location in Configure Accounting settings. When enabled, Shopmonkey will send the selected location details along with invoices, purchase orders, and payouts to QuickBooks.
- A new Send Payment Terms option allows you to map Shopmonkey’s Payment Terms to QuickBooks Payment Terms. If mapped, Shopmonkey will automatically populate the Payment Term field when sending invoices to QuickBooks, ensuring consistency in your accounting records.
- Reports - Line Item Detail: The Technicians column now includes the technician assigned to parts or tires, allowing you to track commissions more effectively.

Reports - Labor Cost Updates:
- The following reports now include a new column, Labor Cost (Time) or Cost (Time), which reflects labor costs based on actual time logged against an order: End of Day, Line Item Detail, Technician Detail, Services by Technician, and Summary by Technician.
- Additionally, the existing Labor Cost or Cost column has been renamed to Labor Cost (Order) or Cost (Order) to more accurately reflect that the data is sourced from the labor line item's cost.
- For Canned Services Summary and Canned Services by Service Writer, the Total Cost now includes time log data entered against the service or labor item, ensuring more accurate cost calculations.
