Time Log, Purchase Order, & More Improvements
We’re kicking off March with a series of improvements that enhance several areas throughout Shopmonkey.
If this is your first time visiting our Latest Releases page, here’s how it works:

New Improvements
- Time Log View: This month's highlighted feature is a brand-new Time Log View that gives Admins & Service Writers an easier, quicker way to see the total time spent on a labor line compared to the estimated hours. Simply click on a labor line within a service, and once your team members clock in and out of that labor line, the individual entries will be displayed along with a Total Time Spent calculation.
- Parts Procurement Cost Adjustments: You can now manually adjust the cost on integrated Purchase Orders when using Parts Procurement. This lets you quickly match vendor invoices or unexpected price changes, with the option to reset the field back to the original integrated cost at any time. Once the order is placed, the cost can no longer be updated.
-
Fees & Taxes on POs: You can now calculate taxes and apply fees directly within Purchase Orders. This gives you more control to match vendor invoices, handle unique tax rates or fees, and keep your parts purchasing more accurate with less manual adjustment.

-
Mobile Time Clock Enhancements: The mobile time clock now gives you and your team a clearer, more reliable clock-in experience in the field. Techs can see location status updates, view their position on a map with an accuracy range, and confirm their location before clocking in, helping you keep labor reports accurate and avoid confusion when GPS takes a moment to update.

-
QuickBooks Online Imports: Inventory imports from QuickBooks Online now work smarter with your pricing settings. When you import inventory, Shopmonkey will now either sync the retail price from QBO or automatically calculate it using your pricing matrix, helping you keep pricing consistent and avoid missed margin when costs change.
