Introducing Estimate Reminders
Ever send a customer an estimate and have to call them multiple times to get a reply? It happens. Sometimes customers just get busy and forget to follow up.
With Automated Estimate Reminders, you can set reminders ahead of time to automatically follow up with customers who haven’t responded. If they do reply before the reminder is sent, Shopmonkey skips it for you so your customers don’t get duplicate messages.

New Improvements
- Release Notes: All release notes are now available in our Support Center, giving you a clear and searchable hub to stay on top of what’s new in Shopmonkey. This makes it easier for your team to learn about improvements, discover new features that help your shop every day, and revisit updates anytime. We’ll continue expanding this new space as the single source of truth for product changes, so you and your team always know what’s new and improved.
- Workflow Filters: Filters now stay in place when you leave and return to the Workflow page, and sharing the page URL lets teammates view your exact filter setup without changing their own.
- Message Center: You can now see who sent the last message in each thread, so you can quickly tell if a customer or team member replied most recently.
- Order Page — Hide Part Costs: A new setting in General Settings gives you the ability to hide the cost column on orders so customers only see final prices, while still allowing cost updates in the order side panel.
- Order Checklist: When required checklist items are already completed, users will only be prompted for what’s left and can review the full checklist in the order sidebar.
- End of Day Tooltips: Helpful tooltips now show where data comes from and how it’s calculated to make EOD reporting easier to understand.
- Report Filters: Long filter values now wrap within the sidebar for better readability, especially for long customer and fleet names.
- Excel Exports: All Excel exports now include the report name and filter values in the first row for better context when sharing spreadsheets.
- Saved Reports: Saved reports now remember whether the chart was shown or hidden, so your preferred view loads every time.
- Part Returns — Inventory Updates: Inventory quantities now automatically adjust when returns are marked Returned or Refunded.
- Part Returns — Search Improvements: Search behavior now matches Inventory search rules, with better filtering for returns created directly in Inventory.
- User Permissions — Assignments: New permissions let you control editing of Service Writer and Technician assignment fields even when Edit Invoice is disabled.
