New Improvements
- Coupons: Coupons are officially here for shops on the Genius plan! This new feature gives you an easy way to create, manage, and share coupons directly with your customers in Shopmonkey. Admins can create coupons by default, and if you’d like other team members to help manage coupons, a new User Permission lets you control access by role. To learn more, check out the dedicated knowledge base article.
- Digital Vehicle Inspections: You can now send a standalone inspection to customers without tying it to the Estimate page. This is helpful if your team is still finalizing estimate details but wants to share inspection results sooner. From the Inspection page within an order, select Share Inspection to send the inspection directly to the vehicle owner.
-
Unlocked Labor Rates: You can now set a labor subtotal and let Shopmonkey automatically adjust the labor rate, instead of changing the labor time within a service.
- Example: If you want to charge $99.99 for an alignment that was previously set at $120, while still assigning your technician 0.75 hours, you can now do that. Simply set the subtotal to $99.99, and the labor rate will adjust automatically without changing the technician’s assigned time. This gives you more flexibility in pricing while keeping labor times accurate.
- Online Payments — Shop Setting: You can now choose whether Online Payments are turned on or off by default when sending estimates. If you turn Online Payments off by default, customers can still pay online, but only when your team manually enables the option within the estimate itself. This setting can be found under General Settings → Online Payments.
- Parts Returns: The Parts Returns page will now remember your selected columns, sort order, and filters. You can leave the page and come back without needing to reapply your settings. Parts Returns is also now available in the Recently Viewed menu, making it easier to jump back in where you left off.
- Reports - Order Tags Filter: The All Estimates, Orders, and Invoices reports now include a column for Order Tags, making it easier to filter and report on tagged work.
